Clement graduated from SUNY Maritime College in 2004 in international shipping while completing a first training experience with the brokers MJLF in Stamford CT . Mr. Rey started his career going back to the family Owned company Cargo Maritime learning concrete process of tanker operations and chartering for int’l traders and oil majors. Clement decided to go in Africa on the field and assisted in the kick start of MRS Oil & Gas Nigeria ltd; working as Shipping coordinator for the group he also had some physical trading experience. Back to France as consultant for Socomet Sales he has been working in CPP chartering projects and S&P deals since . In June 2013 he started in Dubai with special support of quality Charterers.

Kyriakos was born and raised in Greece amongst one of the Leading shipowners in Greece. He studied in Edinburgh’s Heriot Watt University and took his BSc in Photonics. After than Joined the Greek Navy in Greece. As soon his service was over, in 2006 he joined Optima shipbrokers in Athens where he started his career. In 2009 he received an offer for setting up the Tanker desk in a reputable Broker shop in Paris, Socomet Sales. While working there mainly focusing in WAF clients met with Clement Rey and decided to set up Antares Tankers in June 2013.

Born and raised in London, Nicholas holds a joint honours degree in Business Economics & French from Oxford Brookes University. In 2006 he moved to Greece and joined Optima Shipbrokers in Athens where he began his career as an SNP broker. In 2010, Nicholas decided to steer his career towards a more ‘boutique’ broking environment and joined Ross Shipbrokers focusing on Greek and International clients’ requirements. Preferring the more client-centric and personal approach, and therefore wanting to maintain working within a ‘boutique’ company, Nicholas joined Antares Shipbrokers DMCC in 2019.

Graduated with BSC (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot Watt University – Edinburgh in 2014 during which he did multiple internships at Shipping Repair companies such as GOLTENS – Dubai.
Started his career as a junior marine surveyor / mechanical engineer at Quest Marine LLC where he shadowed senior surveyors over 14 months in all types of surveys such as P&I, H&M, Damage, Bunker, Pre-purchase and cargo surveys, giving him a technical understanding of being on-board ships.
Joined Clarksons Platou – Dubai as a claims analyst in the year 2016 and was handling their claims portfolio for over 3 years for their Tanker Desk. Over his tenure at Clarksons, he had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals from different backgrounds and get an idea of the commercial maritime industry.
He has completed his Higher National Diploma (HND) from the Internal Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS – UK) during his tenure at Clarksons.
He is a professional PADI – Scuba diver and holds a valid license as a Yacht Skipper.

Luca Becker (Commercial Director)
Luca studied in Genoa & Bologna before starting his career at Ferrotank Shipbrokers in Genoa. Following this, Luca joined Genoa Sea Group on their Tanker & Edibles desk mainly focusing on western cargoes and clean petroleum products in WAF. In 2010 he joined Ifchor Tankers opening their Genoa office until 2020. After a stint at Banchero Costa as head of Edibles and Chemicals, Luca joined Antares Shipbrokers in March 2024.

Angela Triantafyllidou (Junior Tanker Chartering broker)
Angela studied Business Leadership & Administration at the University of East London, followed by various courses in Digital Fundraising & Social Media and Graphic Design at NYU in New York. In Greece she worked for 3 years within an NGO as a project manager, before steering her career towards the shipping industry whilst simultaneously taking the ICS Professional Diploma. Angela joined Antares Shipbrokers in October 2022.

Mohamed Fatha (Tanker Chartering broker)
Mohammed is a valued member of our chartering desk based in Dubai. He graduated with an MBA specialising in Shipping & Logistics from Amet University, India in 2009. After almost 13 years within the shipping agency side of the business, Mohammed made the transition to broking when he joined Antares Tankers in 2023 where has has now assumed the position of Junior Tanker Chartering Broker.
